In order to fully restore a cPanel account to a former backup:
First run /script/pkgacct <username> to create a full backup of the account to be restored just in case.
Then terminate the cPanel account from WHM.
Then go either to WHM > JetBackup or WHM > Acronis for the account restore functions.
This way we avoid file override and locking issues when trying to restore a cPanel account while it is still active and running.
